The MP Hon. Nicholas Gumbo having come from a poor family, has vowed to give education in Rarida a top priority and to ensure that even poor families get access to basic educational facilities. •
Rarieda has over 167 schools with three main provincial boarding schools that admit students from all parts of the country: These include Ramba Boys Secondary School, Chianda Boys High School and Lwak Girls High School. There are many rural day- schools within Rarieda, these include Raliew Mixed Day Secondary School, Makasembo Mixed Day, Secondary School, Gagra Mixed Day School, Siger Mixed Day, Naya Mixed Day, Ndigwa Mixed Day and newly found Rarieda Mixed Day. •

Focus On Lwak Girls High School > Lwak Girls High School was built in 1960s and is one of the oldest girls school in Kenya. The school started off with approximately 300 students and expanded rapidly due to it's academic excellence. The demand to join the school grew rapidly and soon it was realizing high registration numbers over the years. Today, despite economic huddles, Lwak girls has continued register academic stella perfomance. In 2002, the school introduced Computer Studies as an examinable subject.
