Prime Minister Raila Odinga is set to enlist the services of professionals to popularise male circumcision in Nyanza.

Mr Odinga said on Friday evening that people were resistant to circumcision because they had not been properly informed about its health benefits.

He said that a meeting has been slated for September 22 in Kisumu when health experts would present scientific evidence that supports circumcision as an effective method of reducing the rate of HIV infection.
